Founded in 1992, APC started as a Custom Powder Paint Manufacturer in Mt. Prospect, IL under it's current President, Dave Suvagia. Dave has nearly 30 years of background in the powder paint industry. APC’s marketing is lead by Dave’s Son, Brett Suvagia, who has 15 years of both formulation and marketing experience.

APC’s goal was to expand and serve both OEMs and Custom Coaters in the Midwest. With Dave and Brett’s strong work ethic, this is exactly what has occurred - APC recently built a new powder paint manufacturing facility in St. Charles, IL with four manufacturing lines. Today APC serves the largest OEM and Custom Coater in the Chicago area. Dave and Brett share one common goal: APC should always be recognized as a powder paint manufacturer leaving an ever-lasting impression with all of its customers in excellent quality, customer service, and pricing.

American Powder Coatings, Inc. (APC) values total customer satisfaction. Just-in-time deliveries positions APC to be a convenient source for powder coatings. APC provides a large selection of Stock Colors. When stock products cannot satisfy your coating requirements, APC will develop custom powders to meet your specifications. New product formulations are provided within two weeks. Literature and product samples are available upon request. Technical personnel are readily available for assistance in surface preparation, coating specifications, and correction of finishing problems. The capacity to produce both custom, along with standard industrial coatings makes APC a clear choice for all sectors of the powder market, from custom coaters to OEM's.
